The 2022 Canadian IMP (Individual Meal Pack) Menu #11 is one of the more balanced and hearty modern Canadian military rations. IMPs are issued to the Canadian Armed Forces and are known for their excellent accessory items, high calorie counts, quality desserts, and flameless-free heating system that relies on a small folding stove with fuel tablets rather than FRHs like U.S. MREs. Main Entrée Chicken & Vegetable Stew A thick savory stew containing chunks of chicken, potatoes, carrots, peas, and gravy-style broth. Compared to many U.S. MRE entrées, Canadian IMP stews often have a more homemade texture and less processed feel. Usually very filling and cold-weather friendly.
